Moalboal

Moalboal located in the south west of Cebu. It is ideal for those looking for a place to snorkel and diving and also to relax on the Panagsama beach and Basdaku White beach.

Panagsama beach is small beach where you can relax and sunbathe. On the beach kiosks where you can buy souvenirs. Free Entry on the beach. Bars, restaurants within walking distance. This beach is famous for the marine fauna that inhabits its waters, sardines and turtles.

If there is a place to stay in Moalboal it is here (Panagsama beach), in the center of Moalboal, close to restaurants, bars, souvenirs shops. Zona Neptune Diving Resort.

Basdaku White beach Moalboal is a long beach of white sand. Beach not equipped. Nothing special. In the weekend, hundreds of Filipino tourists from all over the island flock to this beach to grill and party. If you can, don't go in the weekend. Entrance (5 PHP per person) and entrance fee (10 PHP per person). Reachable from Moalboal Panagsama beach by tuk tuk or rent a scooter.

Oslob

Oslob is one of the best known tourist destinations in the southern part of the island of Cebu.
The main reason is the whale shark. In Oslob, more precisely in Tanawan you can snorkel with the whale shark. Not recommended.
The other reason is one day trip to Sumilon Island.
In the centre of Oslob restaurant, bar, 7/11 , money exchange.

Sumilon island is a nice island to see from Oslob. Beautiful white sand beach and with crystal clear sea, turquoise sea with many shades of color blue. Fantastic sea! A first taste of paradise that can be found in the Philippines.

Snorkeling is possible .There are a lot of fish.

Recommended to go early in the morning (around 10 h). Late morning the beach fills up then early afternoon begins to empty.

Pleasant day trip to Sumilon island.

Private island , entrance to pay 50 PHP per person. Boat cost 1500 PHP. Excluding transfer to / from the port. Boat Feelferano is the name of one of the boat to go to Sumilon Island.

Tingko beach is not a tourist area and not well known. It is mainly frequented by the local population. It is very peaceful and relaxing on weekdays and can get too crowded in the weekends. If you can , you don’t go in the weekend.

Tingko beach

Bantayan

Bantayan is a beautiful island with white sand beaches in the south coast and south of the port. The rest of the island is wild. Island not yet invaded by mega resorts. Locals say that Bantayan remembers a Boracay 30 years ago, when the island was still livable. The three main towns in the island are Bantayan, Madridejos and Santa Fe. The touristic area to stay in Bantayan is Santa Fe, in the south of the island, a few steps from the most beautiful beaches of Bantayan. Santa Fe is the tourist area of Bantayan where there are local restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

Recommended stop during the tour of island: Marikaban beach, Sandira beach called Paradise beach, Balidbid Lagoon, Kota Sa Madridejos, the center of Bantayan, the center of Santa Fe.

Long beach of white sand with transparent water and shades of blue. Unfortunately dirty beach, not well maintained and not cleaned sea.

Sandira beach called Paradise beach in Bantayan.

Small white sand beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bantayan. Beautiful sea, transparent water , turquoise sea with many shades of color blue. Downwind. Calm sea . The ideal place to take a bath, relax on the beach and sunbathe.

On the main street , take a dirt road. Before arriving at the beach, a parking for scooters with a small kiosk (the only one) which sells drinks. Bring food if you plan to stay long time. Steps to go down to the beach.

Better to go early in the morning when there is anyone .In the early morning a silence, a peace. Then late morning / early afternoon it fills up and loses its beauty.

To eat you can rent gazebos or tables in the shade.

It is a private island. Entrance fees must be paid to enter (500 PHP for the first two people of the group, 100 PHP per person for the rest of the group).

You can arrange the excursion with your hotel or directly with a boatman.

Mactan

Mactan is an island connected to Cebu by two bridges, where the international airport is located. It is the most convenient solution if you are in transit for just one night before taking a flight. There are several hotels located near the airport. Recommended Chambre hotel Mactan. Consider that in Mactan there are only a few mall, a few supermarkets and a few restaurants. Some public beach. Most of beaches are of resorts.
